Jen’s Pack exists to provide welcome packs for people moving into supported accommodation — helping residents settle in with dignity, comfort and a sense that someone cares.
What began as a simple act of kindness during the COVID pandemic has grown into a lasting legacy.

What Is Included?
Each Jen’s Pack is designed to help someone settle into their new accommodation with some everyday essentials.
Typical items may include:
Towel
Toothbrush & toothpaste
Toiletries
Hairbrush
Sanitary products
Toilet roll
Mug, bowl & cutlery set
Other donated essentials
The contents may vary depending on donations and individual needs.
The story behind Jen’s Pack
Jen worked at the Hope Centre in Coventry during COVID and became known for quietly going above and beyond for people facing homelessness and hardship.
At the time, many people wanted to donate items like pots, pans, toiletries and everyday essentials. While these donations were not always something the service could take directly, Jen saw an opportunity to do something meaningful with them.
She began putting together practical packs for people without stable accommodation — giving them essential items, but also a reminder that they mattered.
The team began calling them “Jen’s Packs”.
Jen sadly passed away in early 2023, but the kindness and compassion she showed to others left a lasting impact on the community around her.
After continuing through Foleshill Community Hub, Verto Living is now proud to carry Jen’s Pack forward and continue the legacy she created.
Support Jen’s Pack
Donations help us provide welcome packs for residents moving into accommodation with very little.
We welcome donations of new or unopened essentials such as toiletries, towels, sanitary products and kitchen items, as well as financial contributions to help us purchase items that are most needed.
