Safeguarding Concerns

At Verto Living, the safety and wellbeing of our residents is our highest priority.
If you are worried that someone living in our accommodation is at risk of harm, abuse, neglect, exploitation, or is experiencing a crisis, please let us know as soon as possible.

You do not need proof — sharing a concern early helps us act quickly to keep people safe.

What counts as a safeguarding concern?

You can report to us if you believe a resident may be experiencing:

  • Domestic abuse

  • Physical, emotional, sexual or financial abuse

  • Neglect or self-neglect

  • Mental health crisis

  • Exploitation, coercion or control

  • Substance misuse concerns

  • Risk from someone else in the community or property

  • Any behaviour or situation that puts them, or others, at risk

If you’re unsure, report it anyway. Our safeguarding team will review the information and take appropriate action.
