Our values shape how we support residents, care for our homes, work with partners and look after one another.

They are not simply words on a wall. They should be visible in our everyday actions, decisions and relationships across every part of Verto.

We treat everyone with dignity, fairness and consideration.

Respect should be present in every conversation and every interaction between colleagues, residents, contractors, professionals and members of our community.

We will always listen, communicate honestly and respect individual differences. In return, we expect our colleagues, residents, properties and wider community to be treated with the same consideration.

We put people at the centre of our decisions.

Policies, procedures and systems help us work safely and consistently, but they must always support the people we serve. We take time to understand individual circumstances and respond with compassion, curiosity and common sense.

We see the person not simply their referral, diagnosis, history or support needs.

We do what we say we will do.

Everyone at Verto has a responsibility to take ownership of their work, communicate clearly and follow things through. We do not assume that someone else will deal with an issue.

When something goes wrong, we are honest, take responsibility and focus on putting it right.

We are committed to doing things well and continually improving.

“Good enough” is not where we stop. We aim to provide safe, well-maintained homes, meaningful support and a consistently professional service.

We welcome feedback, reflect on our practice and look for better ways of working.

We achieve more when we work together.

We look after our colleagues, share knowledge and recognise the contribution every person makes. No single employee, team or organisation can meet every need alone.

We work openly and constructively with external professionals and agencies, sharing relevant information and coordinating our actions in the best interests of our residents.
